IAEA has evidence that Iran is designing nuclear weapons

The International Atomic Energy Agency has found evidence that Iran is in the ongoing process of developing nuclear weapons. At the Parchin military site near Tehran, the IAEA has found evidence that strongly points to the possibility of nuclear development. Iran officials deny all speculation that they have ongoing research, calling the IAEA’s work a “lousy job of intelligence.”

If Iran truly is in the process of developing a nuclear arsenal then it could spell disaster for the region. Iran’s technology could potentially fall into the hands of Al-qaeda members which would spell disaster for the United States. Iran having these weapons throws the power balance of the region into chaos as other nations around them will build up militarily to contend with Iran’s new found power. This could potentially destabilize the area even more than it already is and make it a powder keg for war.
