Mexico captures top drug lord.

Mexican officials have captured Ovidio Limon Sanchez. Sanchez has been the Don of the Sinaloa Crime Family which has been smuggling cocaine and other illegal drugs to the United States. With a reward of 5 million dollars on his head, Sanchez was captured by Mexican officials in Culiacan without a shot being fired.

With Sanchez’s capture, the ability of the Mexican drug cartels to make money takes a severe hit. Sanchez had been very successful in using underground passageways in order to smuggle his product into the United States. With him potentially revealing the locations of these passageways, it would help the Mexican government stop the cartel’s stranglehold on the power in Mexico.
