Analysis |
In order to secure the economic prosperity of the Euro zone, many European leaders have considered alienating Greece. Greece has issued a referendum for the constituent to vote on bail out funding. This has in fact angered the leaders of the majority party in Greece, seeing no confidence in the Prime Minister’s, George Papandreou, decision to do so. Many have even called for his resignation, thus adding on to the financial burdens of the state. With so much turmoil going on in Greece, it is clear to see why so many European leaders want to alienate Greece and have the euro zone prosper. In addition, if Greece does not decide to do a bailout program, Europeans leaders are determined to remove Greece from the euro zone. Much is at stake for the euro currency, and in order to secure European leaders see it best to give Greece an ultimatum. To the major European leaders, such as France and Germany, it is best to demand Greece’s cooperation or else the currency will surely fail.
