Title
Frustrations with Greece Mount
Summary
European leaders are determined to leave Greece out of the equation of the euro zone, if Greece does not agree to a bail out program. To the European leaders, it is vital to push for the strengthening of an economy and currency system, than to deal with the political and financial turmoil of Greece.
Analysis
In order to secure the economic prosperity of the Euro zone, many European leaders have considered alienating Greece. Greece has issued a referendum for the constituent to vote on bail out funding. This has in fact angered the leaders of the majority party in Greece, seeing no confidence in the Prime Minister’s, George Papandreou, decision to do so. Many have even called for his resignation, thus adding on to the financial burdens of the state. With so much turmoil going on in Greece, it is clear to see why so many European leaders want to alienate Greece and have the euro zone prosper. In addition, if Greece does not decide to do a bailout program, Europeans leaders are determined to remove Greece from the euro zone. Much is at stake for the euro currency, and in order to secure European leaders see it best to give Greece an ultimatum. To the major European leaders, such as France and Germany, it is best to demand Greece’s cooperation or else the currency will surely fail.
