Analysis |
The drug war in Mexico has been intensifying over the past few years which has made it difficult for politicians to make an impact and change Mexico for the better. Since 2006, the drug war has been responsible for the deaths of 25 mayors. Policemen are not even safe at their stations because of attacks and nationally, the government nor the police have a true handle on the drug war related crimes. Intervention from an outside source may become necessary to aid the Mexican government in the fight against drug cartels. PAN political figures believe in Christian Democracy and even though they believe they can fix the problems themselves, they are getting to the point where their weak conservative points of view are not effective.
