Analysis |
The prisoner swap demonstrates that states, like Israel and Egypt, are able to work together in deals and prisoner trades. Since their governments actually carried through with meetings and deals for the swap it shows each state’s prosperity and will to work together. Even though Grapel was held for months, the governments did ultimately settle and agree demonstrating to the world’s watchful eyes that some form of peace is possible in the Middle East.
