Title |
Gaddafi Killed
| |
Summary |
Muammar Gaddafi was killed in crossfire between loyalists and National Transitional Council forces.

Analysis |
Now that Muammar Gaddafi has been killed, the ultimate test of the National Transitional Council will come; rebuilding and running a state. The challenges that logically follow are a quandary that any government would encounter but the fact that they were unified and bolstered by a distaste for one individual who is no longer in existence means that the movement has the potential to degenerate into infighting. In addition, if there is not a clear leader soon, the ntc could fail completely through loss of control. This could mean further instability in the region and a bloody fight for leadership of Libya.
