Analysis |
Intelligence agencies have always had a rivalry among nations. Dating back to the CIA and MI5 vs. KGB days, each agency has always wanted to be called the best. Whenever an agency catches another agency’s spy there is almost a sense of pride that comes along with that. Along with the fact that you’re protecting your nation of course. Whether Ms. Zatuliveter is a spy or not, she will most likely be deported no matter what because of the fact that a former MI5 chief will want to boast the reputation of MI5 as being able to sniff out any counter intelligence that any other agency can muster.
