Germany becoming EU’s hero?

Germany’s parliament is supporting the expansion of funds to help bailout Eurozone (EU) economies in need. The idea of expanding the funds was brought up by Chancellor Merkel.

With Germany’s parliament’s support, Merkel has gained more force behind her to put her idea into action and to get the opposition in line. Merkel with this gained power will most likely try to implement greater measures than the expanding of the EU fund in the future. These greater measures will help to keep the 17 nations that make up the EU together through its economic crisis.
