By Thursday night, Michael Sata, 74, won Zambia’s presidential elections. Sata ran against ten other candidates, but only one other candidate was considered his contender, Rupiah Banda. Although less than half of the Zambia’s population voted, Sata won electoral election by 43% of total votes.

Analysis |
Having Michael Sata as President could benefit the country, a change in trade could take place. As it is stated in the news, “the country is benefiting from rising world copper prices” if they keep they copper prices high, the country could begin to rise. Which means more jobs in Zambia, as well as hospitals or airports that could benefit the people and the country.
