Espionage or Bad Luck?

The two United States hikers that were detained in an Iran for suspected espionage were finally released. The hikers were hiking in the Iraq, Iran region when the unknowing crossed in to Iran where they were apprehended and taken to prison and held there for two years on suspicion of spying.

News of the released hikers was a great relief to the United States, they were greeted by their families once they were flown to Omen from Iran. After two years on Iranian prison, the suspected spies were released. Although they claim to be hikers, Iran and other countries around the world privy to the situation beg the question. “Why would one take a vacation to hike in the Iran, Iraq region. Especially considering it’s an active warzone. Although some questions may never be answered, or at least with real answers, the news of Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal returning to their families in the U.S. is great news.
