Group: Olden Constitutions?
Value: 25
Due: January 28

The purpose of this homework is to help you get to think about the Constitution and its pedigree.

Each group is responsible for one of the constitutions.  Presentations are held on January 28.  There is no paper to be written.  Focus on a clear and coherent presentation.  The presentation should be about 10 minutes long.  Divide the work as you see fit.  Not everyone needs to speak during the presentation, as each group member gets the same grade.

The presentations should include the following points:

  1. What was history like at that point?
  2. What was government like?
  3. What did this constitution do to the government?
  4. Who benefited and who lost with this constitution?
  5. How did it change the country?
  6. What are its weaknesses?
  7. What are its strengths?

In addition to being responsible for presenting one constitution, your group will also be responsible for asking questions about a second one.  These questions should be thoughtful and on topic.
